1975 in Soviet Lithuania: Before they head off to sea on an industrial fishing trawler for the next five months to catch fish at the distant Atlantic coasts, fishermen kiss their wives goodbye at the harbour. Time flies on the trip, and the men eagerly await one thing – letters from their wives.
1975 im sowjetischen Litauen: Bevor sie für die nächsten fünf Monate in See stechen, um an den fernen Atlantikküsten Fische zu fangen, nehmen die Fischer im Hafen Abschied von ihren Ehefrauen. Die Zeit vergeht auf der Fahrt wie im Fluge, und die Männer warten sehnsüchtig auf eine Sache – Briefe von ihren Ehefrauen.

Little Mora is sinking into an endless sea. What looks like a little island appears to be a floating piano – her transitory salvation. After discovering she can conjure up the wind by pressing piano keys, Mora goes on a journey through a dormant world.
Die kleine Mora versinkt in einem endlosen Meer. Was wie eine kleine Insel aussieht, entpuppt sich als ein schwimmendes Klavier – ihre vorübergehende Rettung. Nachdem sie entdeckt, dass sie durch das Drücken von Klaviertasten den Wind herbeizaubern kann, begibt sich Mora auf eine Reise durch eine schlummernde Welt.

Nikita liebt Techno und träumt davon, ins "Berghain" zu gehen. Seine Mutter Irena weiß nichts von den Sehnsüchten ihres Sohnes – schon bald werden ihre gegenseitigen Erwartungen aufeinanderprallen.
