Der 25-jährige Vadim lebt in Kiew und arbeitet als Tontechniker. Als er ein lukratives Jobangebot erhält, seltene Tiere in Transkarpatien aufzunehmen, zögert er nicht lange.
Doch ausgerechnet seine Mutter soll ihn auf dieser Reise begleiten.
